NS Everett History
Naval Station Everett in Washington State was commissioned in 1992 as the Navy's most modern homeport facility. It was built to provide a Pacific Northwest homeport for a carrier strike group, reducing dependence on congested West Coast ports. Today it is homeport for several guided-missile destroyers and other surface combatants. The station supports fleet readiness and serves as a forward staging point for Pacific operations.
