1994

Transferred to Navy; Redesignated NAS JRB Fort Worth

Following the 1991 BRAC decision, Carswell AFB was transferred to the Navy in 1994 and redesignated Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth. The installation hosts Air Force Reserve, Air National Guard, Navy Reserve, Marine Corps Reserve, and Army Reserve units.
