Tobyhanna Army Depot History
Tobyhanna Army Depot in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania was established in 1953 and is the Department of Defense's largest center for the repair, overhaul, and fabrication of electronics and communications systems. The depot maintains radar, satellite communications, electronic warfare, and night vision systems for all military branches. Tobyhanna employs a large civilian workforce and is a major employer in northeastern Pennsylvania.

Upon arrival, report to the Military Personnel Office in Building 11, 11 Hap Arnold Blvd, Tobyhanna, PA 18466. Hours: Mon–Fri 0730–1600. Phone: (570) 615-7409. If arriving after hours, report to the Staff Duty Office in Building 20.
The Temporary Lodging Office (Building 34) is available 24 hours for emergency lodging needs. Tobyhanna Villas provides furnished temporary housing for up to 30 days with PCS orders; check-in is at 1500, and reservations can be made at (570) 615-6343.
Army Community Service (ACS) is at Building 338, 11 Hap Arnold Blvd, (570) 615-8371, Mon–Fri 0730–1600. ACS coordinates newcomer orientation scheduling, housing resources, and family services for new arrivals.
