Tri-Command History
The Tri-Command refers to the three commands co-located at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs: U.S. Northern Command, U.S. Space Command, and the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). Together they are responsible for homeland defense, space operations, and aerospace warning and control for North America. The proximity of these commands enables close coordination on threats to the homeland.
