About Patrick Space Force Base

Welcome to Patrick AFB (now Space Force Base)! Located between the cities of Satellite Beach and Cocoa Beach in Brevard County, Patrick is the home of the 45th Space Wing. In addition to the 45th Space Wing’s duties as the host wing, they also operate the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS) and the Eastern Range. Patrick Space Force Base is also home to the 920th Rescue Wing, the Air Force Technical Application Center, and the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI). There are around 13,00 military, dependents, civilian employees and contractors on base, and the base has a population of about 1,200 residents.
