Fort Buchanan sits in the metropolitan area of San Juan, capital of Puerto Rico and supports a number of tenant activities, most of them branches from the U.S. Armed Forces Reserve Component, the U.S. Navy Reserve Navy Operations Support Center Puerto Rico and the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.
