Welcome to Marine Corps Base Quantico, the crossroads of the Marine Corps and the premier hub for professional military education. Established in 1917, this historic base is the epicenter of Marine Corps innovation. Every Marine Corps officer begins their leadership journey at Quantico, joining more than 2,000 students in our military schools and over 6,000 active duty personnel stationed there with their families. If you're just arriving, head through the main gate on Fuller Road to the Visitor Control Center. Active duty personnel will check in at the IPAC at Yale Hall, and the Family Housing Office will be standing by to help you settle in. When the workday is done, there's plenty to explore around Marine Corps Base Quantico. Hit the bowling alley, tee off at the golf course, or take advantage of hundreds of acres of outdoor recreation at beautiful Lunga Park.
